FriggBox Shipping Policy (Pre-Order & Crowdfunding)

1) Estimated Delivery Window

  • We are targeting March 2026 to begin shipping FriggBox Lite and FriggBox Ultra to early backers.

  • This is an estimate, not a guarantee. Crowdfunded hardware involves engineering, certifications, and supply chain steps that can shift timelines. If the window changes, we’ll announce it in project updates and by email.

2) Fulfillment Approach

  • Units ship in waves (earliest backers first), followed by later tiers and add-ons.

  • We may use regional fulfillment partners. Your order may ship from the EU, US, or Asia depending on inventory and your delivery country.

  • Some add-ons may ship separately at a later date.

3) Where We Ship

  • We plan to ship to the countries listed on our campaign page and pledge manager. Final eligible regions will be confirmed before address lock.

  • We cannot ship to sanctioned countries, embargoed regions, or addresses that carriers do not service.

4) Shipping Fees, Duties & Taxes

  • Shipping fees are calculated in the pledge manager/checkout based on destination, weight, and service.

  • Unless explicitly stated DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) at checkout, all orders are DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Import duties, VAT/GST, brokerage fees, and local taxes are the recipient’s responsibility.

  • Refusal to pay import charges is treated as a refused delivery (see Section 8).

5) Delivery Times After Dispatch (Guidance)

  • EU/UK: ~3–7 business days

  • North America: ~4–8 business days

  • APAC & Middle East: ~5–12 business days

  • LATAM & Africa: ~8–15 business days
    Times are estimates and can vary due to customs, carrier capacity, or local conditions.

6) Address Changes & “Address Lock”

  • You can update your shipping address in the pledge manager until we announce “address lock”, typically 30 days before your wave ships.

  • After address lock, changes are not guaranteed. If a parcel is returned due to an old/incorrect address, re-shipping fees will apply.

7) Order Status & Tracking

  • You’ll receive a tracking number when your order leaves our warehouse.

  • Tracking marked “Delivered” constitutes proof of delivery. We recommend choosing a secure address and, where available, signature-required delivery for higher-value orders.

8) Failed Delivery, Refused Parcels & Returns to Sender

  • If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address, inability to receive, unpaid duties, or refusal, the parcel may be returned to us.

  • We can reship once the parcel is back in our control; additional shipping and handling fees will apply.

  • If the parcel cannot be recovered from the carrier, we will handle on a case-by-case basis.

9) Loss, Damage & Insurance

  • Damaged on arrival: Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and unit; keep all materials. We’ll file a carrier claim and arrange a replacement or repair as appropriate.

  • Lost in transit: If a shipment does not show movement for 15 business days (domestic) or 25 business days (international), contact support for investigation and replacement eligibility.

  • Post-delivery theft (porch piracy) is not covered by carriers; we’ll assist with documentation but cannot guarantee replacement.

10) Split Shipments

  • To keep timelines tight, we may ship your main unit first and send certain accessories later at no extra cost (if caused by our logistics). If you request separate early shipments of optional items, additional fees may apply.

11) Force Majeure & Crowdfunding Realities

  • Events outside our control—regulatory approvals, certification delays, component shortages, factory interruptions, or logistics disruptions—can affect shipping schedules.

  • As a crowdfunded product, production and delivery dates can move. We commit to transparent monthly updates and to making the most conservative decisions that protect product quality and customer safety.

12) Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (separate document). Shipping fees are not refundable once a parcel has been handed to the carrier.

  • Orders cannot be canceled after address lock or once the shipping label is generated.

13) Packaging & Compliance

  • Units ship in protective, recyclable packaging. We comply with relevant CE/FCC and regional shipping regulations. Any region-specific documentation required for customs will be attached by our fulfillment partner.
